Spinning Shell with Direction Control

This example illustrates time-accurate aerodynamic modeling of synthetic jets being used to maneuver a spinning projectile.

The flowfield around a shell with rotation is computed.  At the base there is a jet which fires to control the direction of the body.

Transient computations agree well with available experimental data.
