Premixed Flame:

Premixed flame (Methane/air) was computed in a flame-holder geometry using LNS in LEST (Large Eddy STimulation) mode. The figures show various aspects of the resulting unsteady turbulent flame break-up, including details of the evolving turbulent eddies. The flow is from left to right. The right boundary was maintained at a constant pressure
of one atmosphere. As the shear layer breaks up longitudinal pressure waves are set up inside the computational domain.
