CSM++ is now
available:
CSM++ introduces a new level of
multi-disciplinary analysis and design capability to engineers
and scientists in diverse fields of science and technology. CSM++ is a finite element based structural
mechanics simulation software suite which has been specifically
designed, from the outset, to work seamlessly with CFD++, CAA++
and MIME to carry out Multi-Physics simulations involving fluid
flows, acoustics, structural deformations and heat transfer. CSM++
heralds Metacomp?s vision for a flow structure interaction
capability with an unprecedented level of interaction between
all the component disciplines. In addition to importing meshes from MIME, CSM++ can import just the mesh or the complete finite element model from several commercial finite element codes. The integrated GUI can be used to setup, solve and analyze a problem quickly and efficiently.

Metacomp Technologies, Inc. Delivers
an Integrated, On-Demand Computational Fluid Dynamics and
AeroAcoustics Solution to Altair?s HyperWorks Customers HyperWorks Customers gain access to Metacomp?s advanced CFD/CAA technology at zero incremental cost [Los Angeles,CA], [5/21/2008] ? Metacomp Technologies, Inc., a leader in Computational Fluid Dynamics today announced that the company has joined Altair?s innovative HyperWorks Partner Solutions Program. The new program provides HyperWorks customers with on-demand access to a wide-range of applications that complement Altair?s suite of applications. HyperWorks customers will use their existing licenses to tap into partner applications without any additional costs to them. Within this program, Metacomp will provide Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD++), Computational AeroAcoustics (CAA++) and Mesh Generation for CFD (MIME) that HyperWorks customers can begin using without risk. Altair?s partnership program includes best-of-breed applications and makes complementary enterprise software readily available to customers at a fraction of the cost of separate enterprise licenses. The program features an accelerated deployment process that enables customers to obtain and utilize partner software seamlessly, without requiring a new purchase order or extra licensing agreement. This reduces administrative and acquisitions costs for customers. By using Metacomp?s CFD++, CAA++ and MIME solutions in conjunction with HyperWorks, joint customers will realize significant benefits in terms of realizing comprehensive physics based solutions for fluid dynamics related problems. ?We are pleased to be a first-round participant in Altair?s new HyperWorks Partner Solutions Program? said Sukumar Chakravarthy, President of Metacomp Technologies. ?Metacomp has previously integrated our CFD solutions with Altair HyperWorks applications and we have enjoyed a very good working relationship with Altair. Our two companies share similar cultures, focused on technical excellence and customer support. This program promises to help us expand into new markets while maintaining the close technical contact directly with the end-user customers? Altair?s partner program is a fundamentally new approach to how businesses purchase their applications. It delivers services that were previously only available to larger companies due to licensing, procurement and administrative costs. It delivers a powerful alternative to the comprehensive product stacks offered by the software giants yet it provides a significant advantage in comparison because it does not create vendor lock in. Altair customers will be able to select best-of-breed technologies from multiple vendors. ?HyperWorks customers have strongly urged Altair to provide Computational Fluid Dynamics Solutions. Now with Metacomp joining our HyperWorks Partner Solutions Community we have a great response to these customers? said Michael Humphrey, vice president of partner programs at Altair. ?Metacomp is a great company to work with and Altair is very excited to make MIME, CFD++ and CAA++ available to our customers.? About Metacomp Technologies, Inc. Founded in 1994, Metacomp Technologies is at the forefront of cutting edge technology in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Computational Aero-Acoustics and Mesh Generation for CFD with its products in widespread global use. New version of CAA++ is now
available:
The new version of Metacomp Technologies' computational aeroacoustics software suite, CAA++, is now available. CAA++ includes analytic methods to extract point probe spectra or total acoustic power output from a set of stationary statistics (RANS solutions) and numerical acoustic solvers based on disturbance equations that can account for bulk fluid motion, resonance, refraction and reflection from solid surfaces, etc. CAA++ includes a general-purpose non-linear acoustics solver (NLAS), which has the same capabilities as CFD++ in handling complex geometries. Some of the new features available include:
