MIME® (Multipurpose Intelligent Meshing Environment) is equipped with many different Wizards that help simplify and streamline the mesh generation process. Today, we are highlighting the General Size Automation Wizard, which is capable of automatically applying appropriate entity and regional mesh sizes based on the size and complexity of the model.
After importing a geometry and grouping various entities in the model into Families, the user simply selects the General Size Automation Wizard and picks a level of mesh refinement.
In addition to geometric entity mesh sizing, the wizard will also apply appropriate settings for curvature-based refinement:
